The RoleThe RoleThe F&B Procurement Manager is responsible for purchasing food and beverages products. He/she plans and forecasts procurement needs, establishes and maintains related budget and expenses, liaises with vendors and negotiates purchases. Strategically secures regional deals with existing and/or new suppliers. Maintain relationships with approved suppliers and seeks out new suppliers while managing their ongoing performance per quality guidelines. Creates, reviews and executes supplier agreements. Follows up with all different suppliers to achieve committed delivery dates. Evaluates supplier quotes and services to determine most desirable vendor. Creates and presents various KPI reports to line manager as requested. Recruits, trains, motivates and evaluates his/her team to ensure that the department has the necessary skill base and that staff are optimally motivated and enabled to maximize their potential and contribution to the company. Manages annual allocated budget, as well as expenditure up to set limits optimizing and reducing costs in order to ensure effective cost management. |
RequirementsRequirementsBachelors degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management or Business Administration. 5 years food buying experience in a strong volume retail environment. Proficiency in MS Office. Fluency in English. |
