The Role


The Role

- Heads the Finance Function for the Overseas Regions, reporting to the Group Head of Finance.
- Works with other stakeholders in the Region and insures that the financial controls and operational disciplines are in place to facilitate profitable growth of the business.
- Acts as a functional leader and an advisor for the Corporate Leadership Team and the Regional Teams
- Country Finance Managers will report to the incumbent
- Develops and implements transaction processes and systems which suit the business needs.
- Ensures that timely and accurate monthly results are reported by all the affiliates accompanied by an insightful analysis of variances from plan and make recommendations for immediate corrective actions.
- Introduce KPI’s that help the Operational teams make timely decisions.
- Develops and implements control systems
- Ensures that the company’s financial policies and procedures are implemented in the Overseas Regions.
- Generates accounting records using appropriate accounting principles and abiding by statutory requirements in the respective jurisdictions.
- Anticipates business and financial risks and puts in place measures on timely basis that mitigate the risks.
- Selects and implements risk management strategies.

Requirements


Requirements

- CPA , Chartered Accountant or CMA and may well have an MBA in Finance
- 8-10 years of experiences within the FMCG industry will be a plus
- Minimum 3 years in a similar senior finance role.
- Sharp analytical skills
- Integrity and moral character
- Flexible, adaptable and proactive mindset
- Possesses business acumen
- Strong Leadership Ability
- Experience with one of the “big 4” is a plus
- Based in Beirut but willing to travel extensively across Middle East and the Levant area
