PURPOSE:
This role has been created to establish finance service and control to the newly established regional structure of the Honda operations currently spread across UAE, Egypt, Oman and Qatar.

DESCRIPTION:
* Timely insights into operational performance
* Support budget and forecasting process
* Support drive working capital KPI drive
* Commercial review / fact finding
* Capex / project evaluation
* Financial integrity, reliability,
* Commercial / legal support on new projects

JOB CONTEXT:
* The incumbent in this role closely interacts with BUFM's in respective companies for meeting the reporting requirements of RMD.
* He would also closely interact with respective finance heads to make sure that the functioning of BUFM's is properly integrated with the respective finance functions.
* He would closely liaise with respective Honda operational management teams to make sure that the finance function is in sync with the operations and that there is a two way dialogue and exchange of information between the two.
* He would keep a close watch on key financial parameters and KPI's and take pro-active actions to keep RMD informed from time to time and take corrective actions in appropriate cases.
* He would have a dotted line reporting to Automotive Finance Director whereby he would make sure that Group financial policies and norms are adhered to by all companies.
* He would liaise with divisions like Group Finance, Group Internal Audit etc on matters of relevance to Honda companies.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:
- Chartered Accountant

Minimum Experience:
- Around 15 years, of which at least half in automotive dealerships.

Job-Specific Skills:
- Knowledge of automotive business processes and financial areas; ability to understand commercial and operational implications, knowledge and understanding of financial and customer focused KPI's.
- Ability to interact across management teams in different geographical areas; ability to comprehend business situations and provide insight on financial and commercial areas.

Behavioral Competencies:
- Strategic, forward looking and analytical, neutral and honest; cultural awareness and sensitivity; flexibility, sound work ethics, ability to maintain confidentiality and; ability to be independent and action oriented.
