Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Provide full scope Generalist HR support to Honeywell business in the Middle East.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of industry, competitors and customers
- Possess knowledge of internal customer's business/client base
- Understand HR implications of daily business decisions and associated employee communication needs
- Build trusting relationships with key business customers
- Can set client expectations on appropriate HR services
- Partner with managers to effectively assess and identify human resource requirements, essential skill set and resource planning
- Identify situations in which organization development intervention can solve problems and improve organizations
- Understand change management basics and be able to advise leaders on their application
- Understand the business culture and employee mindset
- Proficiency with and use of HR technology tools
- Understand importance of HR data quality, know HR data standards, lead with data and enforce standards in day-to-day activities
- Support recruitment process and ensure that selection practices are fair and consistently reveal candidates with the greatest potential
- Manage performance management process and support line managers in driving performance culture
- Participate in Management Resource Review (MRR) process by advising on assessment of talent and succession planning
- Support HGR initiatives
- Coach employees on job assignments, formal education and learning to further their professional development
- Thorough understanding and application of compensation and benefits principles, concepts, practices, and standards
- Participate in and/or support country and/or regional HR projects as required
- Drive and help deploy positive employee relations
- Drive compliance and the Honeywell Business Code of Conduct

Requirements

- HR Degree minimum (Master's/MBA/MBL preferred) with a concentration in the areas of business, labour relations, organizational development and strategic HR disciplines
- Minimum of 10+ years progressive professional HR experience
- 5 years + HR Business Partner experience gained within a Global Multinational Company
- 3 years + experience gained within product/engineered solutions business
- 2 years + HR leadership experience gained within the UAE
- Demonstrable experience in partnering with Senior Stakeholders and delivering Change Management Solutions
- Demonstrated ability to operate across different countries and build relationship with internal and external customers from different cultural backgrounds
- A strong bias for action, a keen sense of urgency and the ability to drive results in a highly matrixed organizational environment
- A demonstrated ability to positively influence others and an ability to develop good relationships with Directors and other leadership team members
- Ability to deal forcefully, tactfully and confidently with internal and external clients across multiple countries and cultures
- Pro-actively set up strategies with solid knowledge of, and experience in, EMEA employment laws and regulations
- Self motivation and strong interpersonal/communication/influential skills with an emphasis on relationship / team / partnership building complete the profile
- As the position offers excellent opportunities for further promotion, occasional international travel will form part of the role
- Strong communication skills and ability to promote and develop trust with all levels of employees
- Decisive and assertive with the ability to be provide flexible, creative solutions in a complex environment
- English fluency as a must and minimum one additional regional language
