The Role


The Role

Our client is a $10bn market leading conglomerate, operational in over 20 countries worldwide and 25000 employees. They are now looking for a Regional HR Business Partner to run their HR Operations in Asia.

The Regional HR Business Partner will be required to lead, direct, manage and co-ordinate the company's HR Operations in the Asian Region, providing an efficient HR service and contributing to the management of the Asian Regions business by delivering benchmark performance in quality, speed and cost of operations, while also providing a HR Generalist service to the company's Asia Regional business units and functions. The Regional HR Business Partner, Asia has 4 primary responsibilities:
1. To operate as Asia Regional HR Operational Lead for the Country and Business Unit HR Business Partners (HRBP), and Country and Business Unit HR Generalists (HRG) within the Asian region.
2. To provide HR Operational services to all managers and employees in the Asian region.
3. To provide the company Employee Services Centre, and limited Corporate HR Specialist Services and functions, for all company managers and employees in the Asian region.
4. To standardize the Regional HR policies, procedures and processes for the group companies in the Asian region.

Requirements


Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates will ideally have a minimum of eight years HR experience with at least three of these in a senior HR Business Partner, HR Operations or HR Generalist leadership role in Asia. Candidates will also have experience of:
* Managing a multi-site or multi-country dispersed workforce in Asia.
* Development and implementation of service level agreements and/or performance metrics.
* Implementing employee relations plans and strategies at local level.

Candidates with FMCG, Trading or Manufacturing industry experience will be looked upon favourably, as will those who have multinational company experience or family owned holding groups.

Candidates must speak Malay, and will either be Malaysian or possess Malaysian citizenship.
