Job description / Role
Job Purpose:
- Act as one point of contact for global key account forwarders with regional scope covering the Middle East cluster countries. This covers both the entire sales process and entry point for issue resolution. Regional scope will vary depending on customers setup, so the incumbent must cover multiple countries around the world
- Standardize and optimize our sales process towards Key Client forwarders
- Identify and negotiate named account deals, tenders and streamline FAK guidelines towards Key Account Forwarders
- Uniform and standardized communication to our Key Clients
Job Responsibility:
- Identify business opportunities globally with Key Client Forwarder base
- Qualify opportunities to assess fit and attractiveness to the company
- Negotiate Key Client Forwarders Named account deals
- Implement effective FAK rate sheets and Tier level structures for Key Client Forwarders
- Implement effective performance and follow-up cycles with Cluster, corporate sales & marketing, Agencies and Key client Forwarders
- Implement effective communication and Feedback loops between Cluster, corporate sales & marketing, Agencies and Key client Forwarders
- Identify, negotiate and execute named account deals and yearly tenders from Key Client Forwarders
- Act as a liaison between agencies and 1 point of contact for Key Client Forwarders on operational issues and aspects pertaining to the shipment cycle
- As a minimum, conduct quarterly performance reviews with Key Clients
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- 1-3 years experience in a sales/customer facing roles within shipping or the logistics industry, fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply for this role.
