Air Arabia is looking for an individual with strong Ground Operations management experience to help develop and manage the airport operations for the Indian Sub-continent in accordance with the corporate objectives and the regulatory requirements. The selected individual will be responsible for ensuring high standards of service while maintaining the security and safety of operation across the region.

The Regional Manager Ground Operations (RMGO) is responsible for leading the Ground Operations team in ensuring efficient handling of all activities of Airport Services across the region ensuring highest quality standards, identifying areas of concern and developing/implementing corrective action plans as well as developing/implementing effective procedures for Airport Services ensuring high standards of service and maintaining the security and safety of Airport and Ramp operations across the network. The Regional Manager Ground Operations will ensure that this is done in accordance with the corporate objectives and the local regulatory requirements.

The Regional Manager Ground Operations will be responsible for controlling and negotiating all customer services contractual requirements within the region to ensure that the company interests are protected. Wherever necessary he/she will liaise with senior management of Engineering, Operations and other Departments with regard to common contractual needs and corporate objectives and liaise with relevant international industry bodies to protect the Companys interests.

The Regional Manager Ground Operations is responsible for proposing and arranging for operating budget for the airports within the region and implementation of effective cost control measures. He/she will also be responsible for ensuring that all administrative requirements of the department such as training, recruitment, contracts, etc. are met while also ensuring compliance with meeting targets and managing station performance.

Requirements

- Must be Educated to degree level with formal qualification in Management Studies or equivalent.
- A minimum of 12 years of relevant experience is required with at least 5 years in a management role.
- Strong functional knowledge of Customer Services / Airport Operations, Recruitment / selection techniques and Contracts
- PC Literate and well versed in MS Office Suite / Google office applications,
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken in English, Skills in Arabic would be an advantage.
- Strong inter-personal and relationship building skills with an ability to work independently.
- Strong negotiation skills
