Regional Manager - North, East & Southern Africa
Dubai based, Full-time Ongoing role
Part of Navitas global Source Country Office (SCO) network, Navitas Dubai was established in 2012. Dubai, along with Nairobi Office, forms the Navitas MENESA (Middle East; North, East & Southern Africa) Source Country Offices. These offices are responsible for the management of partner and stakeholder relationships; regional sales and marketing activities; and student recruitment to Navitas University Programs globally.
This role forms an integral part of the Navitas MENESA Group Marketing team and will be based within MENESA. The position reports to the Regional Sales Director MENESA and will work closely across global Navitas divisions within North, East & Southern Africa. The overall objective of the position is to take a leadership role in driving sales, market development, market diversification and business growth within North, East & Southern Africa. The Regional Manager will be a motivated, senior individual with exemplary client relations, sales and marketing, and strategic management skills.
Requirements
Essential
- Strong written and oral capability in the English language
- Possession of a tertiary degree level qualification and/or 7-10 years of senior-level marketing experience
- High level interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills inclusive of presentation skills
- Demonstrable strategic planning, execution and management skills
- Effectiveness within a matrix management structural context
- Exemplary client relationship and interpersonal skills applicable to a business environment
- Proven ability to initiate, lead and implement change to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Marketing and Sales functions
- Demonstrated ability as a team player
- Flexible attitude to work (e.g. in hours and content), including a willingness to work weekends and evenings in support of recruitment activities both locally and internationally
- Proven ability to initiate and implement marketing strategies and sales tactics which have made a significant contribution to sustainable business growth
- Innovative thinking and proactive work habits inclusive of an eye for detail and for new recruitment initiatives
- Demonstrated experience of working effectively within a matrix structure, with focus on collaborating with various stakeholders
- Ability to work to tight deadlines, changing priorities and to take responsibility for decisions and outcomes
- Demonstrated ability to work with a range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure competing demands are met
- Legal rights of work and above within Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Desirable
- International work experience in the education / language sector
- International study experience
- Capability in one other market-relevant language other than English
