FAMCO is an ISO 9001:2008 & ISO 14001:2004 certified company.Reporting to the GM - Storage & Handling Solutions, the Regional Product Manager is a key member of the FAMCO SHS management team, and represents the organisation for all aspects of SHS customer support and supply. The job holder will head & lead related functions pertaining to the product support for SHS within the assigned territories

The main accountabilities will include:

* Primary point of contact with Principal, including products, pricing, distribution, technical. marketing, production & lead-times
* Establish and manage product range suitable to individual territories by taking market feedback from sales and other sources
* Investigate options for product range extension accounting for market conditions
* In conjunction with sales formulate Principal sales volumes and ensure factory forecasting plans are affected to suit.
* Manage stock levels to support agreed sales targets by territory
* Establish stock pricing levels annually specific to product range.
* Negotiate with Principal on stock and project basis.
* Manage design specifications
* Ensure technical updates are integrated into the system and team knowledge
* Ensure product updates are implemented within the product range
* Ensure all design systems and procedures comply with Principal standards
* Manage all aspects of knowledge transfer between Principal and operations
* Develop capabilities log for all sales demonstrating annual competency improvement/sales resource
* Train and support regional offices with regards to product, design and marketing
* Support in establishing regional product positioning in the new territories of Qatar, Oman, KSA and others as required.

Requirements

The ideal candidate must have:

* Bachelor's Degree with Engineering background.
* 5-10 years of professional machinery or industrial capital equipment sales experience
* Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to communicate and interact with officials at all levels within government and private sectors.
* Ability to simultaneously manage several projects.
