Regional Project Manager – FMCG
Our client is a leading Beverage Manufacturing business with very strong regional presence. They are looking to recruit a Regional Project Manager to support the Middle East and Africa Technical director with new projects across the region
Reporting directly into the Regional Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for managing pre-projects and projects (Processing area or integrated) in the cluster. You will be working closely with customer, sales, engineering and business units to understand customer needs and toprovide functional engineering solutions, entailing technical specifications, value based quotations to customers, preparation and execution of detailed project plans in the Dairy, Beverage, Cheese, Ice Cream & Prepared Food industries.
In additional to the above, you will be responsible for the following:
- Manage Projects with the full responsibility of scope, cost and schedule.
-Lead process and automation engineering in project implementation and as sales leader in pre-projects.
-Define, recommend, establish, communicate and implement the sales strategy.
-Manage customer expectations by understanding needs; provide solutions balancing value and cost.
-Define functional process solutions
-Lead your team prepares flow chart, layout, production time schedule, technical description, value calculations and quotations for plants based on functional solutions & machinery layout drawings.
-Organize and coordinate site activities
-Sourcing and contracting service providers - Site Mangers, Installation etc.
-Practice Project Governance
To apply for this role you must hold an Engineering university degree with a minimum of 10 years of Engineering / Manufacturing work experience. You must have a strong understanding of installation, new projects and project management in the FMCG industry, particularly with beverages (Filling and packaging).You must be flexible to travel as most of the projects are outside of the UAE and you will be required to travel for over 50% of your time. Preference will go to candidate with PMP or Prince certifications.
