Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Henkels purchasing business unit has a cross-divisional and global structure. Due to the importance of the worldwide business, some of the purchasing positions are centralized in the regional HUBs.

Develops regional purchasing strategies and initiates respective agreements for Technical Supply (MRO, CAPEX and Utilities baskets)
Build up and implement the purchasing strategy for the respective area, regionally and locally.
Supports the global category mission and strategy, and execute them locally and regionally.
Manages the strategic alliances and partners along with establishing and developing close and efficient relationships on a regional and local level.
Understands the needs of the value chain partners and external customers and execute them to the best of the market conditions and possibilities by keeping the overall Henkel corporate interest short-, mid- and long-term in mind
Pro-active contribution to the optimization of processes within the area of procurement.
Supports the global market intelligence services.
Ensures that Shared Service Centres and stakeholders execute operational purchasing functions.
Implements the strategy and Key Performance Indicators for the regional team in the area of the responsibility.
Supports the development of the category purchasing team in developing and exchanging best practises and knowledge.
Agree and implement strategies for all MRO, CAPEX and Utilities baskets.
Promotes Global and Regional Core Supplier Programs at principle sites.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or Industrial Engineering any related discipline.
Holding an MBA is an advantage.
3-5 years of work experience in a multinational business environment.
Strong Communication and Negotiation skills
Know-how of decision making process for commercial/ purchasing decisions within multinational industries.
Excellent MS office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) skills.
Fluency in English Language (Verbal and Written).
Strong Interpersonal skills.
Ability to work well under pressure.
Pro-active person.
Mobility and flexibility.
