Regional Quality Assurance – Assistant Manager
About our client:
Our client is a leading multinational, food services business, which own some of the leading brands across the Middle East region. Their regional head office is in Dubai and it covers the entire MENA region which also includes Pakistan.
They are looking for a Quality Assurance, Assistant Manager to support the Quality Assurance Manager on regional projects.
Reporting directly into the Regional Quality Assurance Manager, your main objective is to support the Quality Assurance Manager in all quality related matters and special projects. This is a regional role, hence we are looking for a mature candidate who is able to work closely with suppliers, distributors, outlet managers, senior managers and internal stakeholders.
In addition to the above you will also be responsible for the following:
- You will be working on all regional restaurant projects such as quality improvement and audits.
- Manage suppliers which involves training and educate them on your quality standards and processes.
- Work with franchise outlets across over 10 countries in the MEA region.
- You will be required to enforce the safety guidelines and regulations across the organisation and outlets across the region.
- Majority of your time will be spend on food safety audits.
- Track and monitor the Quality Assurance systems.
You must have strong people skills as you will work with alot of people as well as on the everyday quality tasks. This is quite unique as usually quality assurance teams only work with suppliers.
The successful candidate must hold a Bachelors degree in either food science or a related university degree with a minimum of 3-4 years experience in a Quality Assurance role, ideally you must have worked in a food services, meats manufacturing or the F&B industry.
You must be familiar with quality certifications (such as HACCP, ISO or SPC) and be enthusiastic in maintaining and developing quality initiatives.
Our client is looking for an ambitious candidate who is looking to establish a long term career in quality assurance within their organisation. Since this is a regional role, you will be required to travel across the region for approximately 30% of your time.
Preference will go to Arabic speakers or candidates with European experience.
