Job description / Role
What we offer
- Execute the sales plan for the region and achieve the sales volume, collection, market execution, and customer service objectives through effective leadership and maximum utilization of the Distributor sales team.
- Set clear objectives that are consistent with company’s goals with each member of the regional team.
- Review progress versus objectives at weekly meetings and take corrective action as appropriate.
- Ensure clear communication and adherence to pricing and promotions.
- Provide recognition and feedback to frontline.
- Lead problem solving.
- Assess sales force capability with cell accompaniments and reviews providing development feedback and coaching.
- During accompaniments, model desired behavior or target skills by making demonstration calls.
- Maintain records of accompaniments objectives and progress.
- Deliver group training for sales team as required.
- Support successful execution of core work (delivery, backroom, management, merchandising, and equipment).
- Maintain a physical presence in the region to ensure understanding of customer’s needs.
- Maintain awareness of competitors’ activities, identifying market trends and relaying the information to the company.
- Controlling budgets and overheads.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or related field from a reputable university.
- A minimum of 5 years working experience in sales within an FMCG or a distributor with strong knowledge of Saudi market is necessary.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications.
- Fluency in both Arabic and English is required.
- A highly committed, influencer and detailed oriented character is highly preferable for the position.
