Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a European born multinational insurance company. Our client has been a long-term presence in the region and has an impressive portfolio of global and local clients. They are now focusing efforts and budget on expanding their reach and deepening their penetration in the Middle East. Having restructured they have several newly created roles which are key to their growth and success.
The Regional Sales Manager will focus on a designated number of countries to develop and source business. You will be accountable for reaching out to companies, preparing pitches, bids and proposals, closing business and maintaining relationships with acquired clients. You will also be involved in analysis and calculations.
Requirements
The successful candidate should be proactive, a self-starter who has experience in new business development, client retention and with knowledge of the insurance industry. Our client will also look at strong candidates who have worked in related industries such as financial services as long as they are dynamic and have excellent numeric skills.
Preference will be given to Arabic speakers however this is not a prerequisite. Ideally you should be from the GCC or Western educated. Strong academics will also be a distinct advantage.
