Charterhouse is working with a European multinational insurance company that has an impressive portfolio of global and local clients. Having enjoyed a long-term presence in the Middle East, our client is now focusing their efforts on expanding their business in the region and is looking to hire a Regional Sales Manager. This company has restructured, thus giving rise to newly created roles which are key to their growth and success.
The Regional Sales Manager will focus on a designated number of countries to develop and source business. You will be accountable for prospecting companies, preparing pitches, bids and proposals, closing business and maintaining relationships with acquired clients. You will also be involved in analysis and calculations.
Requirements
The successful candidate should be a proactive self-starter with experience in new business development and client retention alongside solid knowledge of the insurance industry. Our client will consider strong candidates who have worked in related industries such as financial services as long as they are dynamic and have excellent numerical skills. Ideally you should be Western educated or from the GCC, Arabic language skills and strong academics would be advantageous.
