Regional Sales Manager - Onsite Energy - Gas

Our Client is one of the worlds leading manufacturers of large diesel engines and complete propulsion systems and also representing a leading brand in Power systems

They pride themselves of having the widest range and most modern in the sector.

Their products cover diesel engines as well as complete propulsion systems for ships, heavy agricultural, rail and military vehicles, and for the oil and gas industry.

Their leading technological position enjoyed by diesel drives is due in no small part to three key technologies: turbo charging, fuel injection and electronics all developed and produced in house to ensure components are optimally balanced

We are seeking an experienced and professional Sales Manager for their Onsite Energy systems

The key role is to Manage sales activities in the respective region: Acquire and grow market of gas engines and gensets to direct customers

Key responsibilities:
- Administer business development activities for OE Gas-System applications in the assigned territory
- Improve efficiency of sales representatives and distributors: Provide technical training to sales representatives, distributors or their clients
- Design and develop product presentations and other sales materials
- Coordinate solutions between sales and production and qualify external sales partners
- Develop new markets and distribution networks
- Develop regional sales strategies and implement strategic targets within the Region.
- Conduct contract negotiations and conclusions
- Other duties as assigned by Manager

Requirements

- 4 year course of study with a degree in Gas related/mechanical engineering or equivalent
- At least 5+ years of sales, marketing, or business management experience
- Strong product knowledge and technical understanding in the Oil and Gas industry
- Exceptionally strong network with industry partners and customers
- Expertise in analyzing and interpreting scientific and technical reports
- Must have excellent communication skills with a strong customer service focus.
- Knowledge of GCC contract law will be an advantage
- Must be an adaptable team player and able to work independently with a results-oriented work ethic.
- Fluent written and spoken English with local language / German being advantageous
- Willingness to travel extensively in the region
