Employment: Full Time

Weir Oil & Gas, Baku is looking for a Regional Sales / BD manager responsible for developing and implementing the CIS / Caspian region in line with the Weir % year growth plan for Turkmenistan/Kazakhstan/Uzbekistan. This role will have a direct report to the regional Managing director and an operational reporting role to the Baku General Management. This position will specifically target the addition of new customers as well as promote the Weir brand and corporate product lines and complimentary services.
The purpose of the role to lead the delivery of the regional business development plan, delivery of the regional growth sales targets for both OCTG and rotating equipment business streams, ensure prequalification requirements are understood and met for future potential contracts regionally, develop territorial marketing surveys for each of the target countries in the business plan and maintain these in line with market conditions and changes.

Requirements

The candidate must have 5 years experience in Business Development and Sales preferably in Turkmenistan/Kazakhstan/Uzbekistan. Must have experience of working in the engineering environment. Must have excellent interpersonal communications skills and be able to work well with other cultures, demonstrating Weir’s core values. The candidate must be structured and professional with high level of integrity and be fully conversant with company HSEQ procedures and management systems.
Must have demonstrated ability to drive business forward. Must have strong customer relationship skills and sales presence and demonstrated ability to work with customers in the sales and servicing processes with good commercial skills. Must be a self starter and a strong leader with the ability to make business. Must have excellent IT skills.

Position is based in Baku, Azerbaijan however frequent travel will be required.
