Regional Supply Planner

An exciting Regional Supply Planner position is available with a multi-national FMCG company for their Middle East and Africa region. This position will support the Local Supply chain teams in creating consolidated supply plans, sharing it with supply points and insuring optimized planning and will oversee the total pipeline of categories handled and will support in realising the potential through assessing risks and opportunities and being the single point for contact between Supply points/Consolidation hubs and countries. Reporting to the Regional Supply Chain manager, this position is based in Dubai.

Responsibilities:
• During the first 12-15 month the job holder will be dedicated on number of regional supply chain projects related to systems implementation and consolidation hubs set-up in Europe, this will require some level of travel and involvement in administrative tasks to get the project up and running.
• Consolidating country forecasts for relevant technology.
• Convert the short term forecast into dispatch plans / Category requirements based on agreed pipeline parameters.
• Managing a team of logistics coordinators in the OBS (ordering-billing-shipping) from source unit to market for respective categories.
• Leading the total supply planning cycle (GIT s, production delays, shortage/excess, listing samples and NPI s including supply input for respective categories.
• Leading relationship management with source units and work on developing and updating existing or creating new Standard procedures and service level agreements.
• Gaining source units and co-manufacturers agreement in delivering and executing a lean pipeline and securing volume.
• Drive superior customer service through being accountable to achieve 95% on a monthly basis, across the technologies handled, while adhering to agreed stock covers.
• Manage the pipeline stock levels and ensure a lean pipeline and efficient working capital.
• Create and maintain a stock early warning system to manage product availability, freshness and recommend/drive actions accordingly.

Requirements

Qualification and Skills:
• Should be 4-6 years of solid supply chain experience with emphasis on replenishment planning and logistics experience within Middle east region would be preferred.
• Degree in Engineering (preferably Industrial engineering).
• Willing to travel and mobile for relocation.
• Strong knowledge of systems (SAP) is highly preferable.
