Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

My client is a multinational FMCG manufacturing company, they are currently looking for a Supply Planner to be responsible for inventory, demand and supply planning; Reviewing the future forecasts with the demand planner for the entire portfolio; and Ensuring all actions are taken to meet the orders of the customers along with maintaining a tight vigil on key KPIs like inventory, forecast accuracy and customer service level. Reporting directly to Supply Planning Manager, this job is based in Dubai and responsible for GCC region.

Responsibilities:
- Steer and drive the inventory levels to remain within given targets at a monthly, quarterly and yearly level.
- Run the MRP tool on excel to evaluate the current orders and create an overview of the future requirement.
- Place orders with factories based on the fixed production and planning window taking into account historical, current and future forecast trends.
- Prepare and place purchase orders in SAP
- Analyse and challenge the future forecast along with the demand planner for the entire portfolio
- Create , change and maintain prices in SAP via info records
- Conduct material maintenance for all new and existing SKUs ( IDH )
- Validate and submit all supplier invoices to the finance team and contact the shared service team to resolve any queries.
- Organise to register new products by providing samples and documents to relevant authorities
- Prepare and analyse the monthly SC KPI reporting covering customer service level, out of stocks, sales forecast accuracy, inventory development and cockpit.
- Prepare and ensure action is taken by sales and marketing teams on excess stock and slow movers
- Prepare and maintain all open orders, incoming shipments
- Work with sales, marketing and external co packers for all brand promotions.

Requirements

- Degree in Engineering and Management is advantage
- 3-5 years experience within the planning / supply chain role
- SAP key user knowledge is essential
