Regional Talent Manager

Job description / Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen with an Oil & Gas company in Dubai for an exceptional Regional Talent Manager. Travel around the GCC will be required with this role so candidates must be able to commit. The successful candidate will be encouraged to grow into a Talent Director role in the future so candidates must be ambitious and driven and show potential. This role reports into the HR Director.

Responsibilities will include:
• Roll out a regional recruitment strategy to be aligned to the business objectives
• Liaise with line managers to asses recruitment requirements across the board
• Create a manpower plan to ensure recruitment is proactive rather than reactive
• Create succession plans for employees based on performance plans and KPI’s
• Accountable for reducing recruitment costs by hiring through career fares, university placements, referrals and graduate trainee programs
• Implementation and management of psychometric and EQ-i testing and assessment centres
• Recruitment of all levels of employees from Directors to high volume blue collar workers
• Attending networking events and corporate functions to build relationships and increase the pool of potential candidates
• Manage relationships with select recruitment agencies
• Implement ideas for recruitment changes according to the market and industry challenges

Salary up to AED 33,000 plus excellent benefits

Requirements

• Candidates must have a network of high calibre candidates within the Oil & Gas industry, coupled with proven success recruiting high volume/blue collar workers and solid relationships with top universities around worldwide
• Experience in a multinational company and Oil & Gas is essential for this role.
• Hands on experience of different recruitment techniques are required including previous psychometric testing and competency based interviews. Technical knowledge of the Oil & Gas industry is essential.
• High level negotiation skills are required along with excellent communication skills
