Regional Transport Director

Job description / Role

Our Clients are an international engineering consultant providing design, project management and construction supervision services in the Middle East.

Employing more than 10,000 staff globally, revenues over 1 Billion USD generated from over 200 offices, they have been involved in some of the most innovative and prestigious projects in the Middle East. With a matrix disciplinary and multi office approach to complex and innovative project, very few companies compete with this award winning engineering consultancy.

The aim is to recruit a Regional Director who will lead the business to strengthen and significantly grow
market share in the Middle East. Goal is to double annual turnover by 2016 and double the size of the regional transport resources.

The engineering services provided are:
- Aviation
- Geotechnical
- Infrastructure - highways, rail, bridges
- Master planning
- Ports and bridges
- Transport planning

The geographical focuses are for clients and projects in the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Saudi Arabia markets.

Requirements

- Strong leader with substantial professional project management experience
- Experience of client management from project related / consultancy organisations in civil engineering
- Extensive experience in creating results in international, multi-cultural and complex organisations
- Proven track record of creating results in role as manager
- A minimum of five years of senior-level experience within the transportation consultancy sector in the Middle East which has created strong client and partner relationships and an external industry profile

- Act as a role model, promoting and maintaining culture and values
- Possess excellent communication skills
- Profound experience from negotiations
- Able to maximise sales, turnover, profitability and cash flow
- Excellent English language skills both written and spoken

Package circa 70-80k AED / pcm + Medical, Flights + Bonus
