Job description / Role
PURPOSE:
Accountable for the strategic direction, leadership and profitability of the Transport Solutions business for Mouchel Middle East.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Accountable for growing the Transport Solutions business at or above annual targets, with particular focus on driving the Intelligent Transport Systems offering and Asset Management Services inline with Mouchels International capability.
- Responsible for the financial and commercial performance of Transport Solutions.
- Responsible for growing the capability of MME Transport Solutions with regional focus in the areas of transport planning and traffic, intelligent transport systems and Asset Management.
- Contributes to business plans to achieve business growth, profit and improvement, specifies requirements and ensures resources are in place in the short and medium term.
- Provides visible, tangible leadership to managers and staff, exhibits corporate values, promotes the Mouchel way; the Mouchel approach to performance management and to customer service.
- Builds and maintains relationships based on the partnership approach and negotiates at a senior level with internal, external business partners, clients and customers.
- Evaluates risk and business trade-offs to achieve optimal business solutions and results.
- Coordinates and integrates diverse inputs to ensure realisation of targets.
- Accountable for generating and directing commercially viable new work.
- Accountable for the impact of decisions affecting the business or market sector.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree in Engineering and Professional Qualification, or appropriate alternative.
KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:
- Twenty plus years relevant post qualification experience.
- Strong track record and understanding of Asset management and intelligent transport solutions in the region.
- Strong network of contacts.
- Robust values anchored in international business ethics.
