Regional Treasury Specialist - Dubai, UAE

Performing all treasury activities for the MENAI region by being the local POC for corporate treasury and coordinating with business groups and banks in the region

Job Responsibilities:

* Bank Guarantee administration
- Work with MENA PMs and Corporate Treasury on issuance of new bank guarantees and amendments and coordinating collection of issued guarantees with the local fronting bank
- Maintaining bank guarantee register, monitoring expiration and coordinating cancellation process with PMs and banks

* Cash management - continuously analyzing cash reserves and cash needs and manage cash movements across all bank accounts in the region (50 accounts):
- Ensure funds are available in the region to meet obligations
- Updating IC template and uploading receipt back-up documentation in SharePoint for trades executed.

* Cash Repatriation analyzing routes for regional excess cash repatriation (Intercompany trade or loan settlement, branch transfer, dividend pay-out).
* Bank account signatory maintenance and new account opening getting local signatories to sign opening documents and signatory changes and working with local bank branches to satisfy account opening documentary requirements.
* Approval of electronic banking transactions (IC settlement and Payroll) and signing manual checques (Vendor payments, Payroll)
* Cash balance reporting including Intercompany balances outstanding, Intercompany payments, client receipts and bank guarantees
* Cash flow forecasting short term and full year 12 months rolling. Coordinating with different departments, completing the template with actual and forecast figures, analyzing variance and providing explanation
* Agency fees verification and coordinating approvals for release of payment
* Regional POC for any banking related matters or issues.

Requirements

- Finance or Accounting graduate or equivalent
- 5-10 years experience with minimum of 3 years in treasury, preferably (but not a pre-requisite) with a multinational company
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Effective analyzing and decision making skills
- Ability to work independently with very minimal supervision
- Team spirit and hands-on
- Experience with a large ERP system, preferably Oracle
- Proficient in Microsoft application (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Comfortable interacting with bankers
