Job description / Role
ELG FZE on behalf of UnitedHealthcare Global are currently inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced EU Registered Doctors to provide medical and welfare support to seismic and ship crews working in extremely remote offshore locations worldwide.
Doctors must hold current EU country registration and have experience of working in an A&E department/emergency room and pre-hospital care in addition to experience providing intensive care treatment to patients within challenging environments over prolonged periods.
Requirements
- Previous remote site experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Minimum of five years' post medical qualification work experience, preferably in an emergency setting including pre-hospital experience
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Trauma Management Certification (ATLS, ITLS or PHTLS)
- A valid Offshore Safety and Survival Certificate, to include Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (HUET)
- OGUK or ENG1 Medical Fitness Certificate
- High levels of health and fitness
- Computer literate
- Good English language skills
