Employment: Full Time

Registered Nurse - HAAD (Al Ain)

Total Patient/Client Care is rendered according to the Scientific Nursing Process following the guidelines of the International Patient Safety Goals, evidence based practice and clinical pathways as per policy. Patient Rights, education and statutory requirements are adhered to Medico-legal risks are prevented and managed.

Mutually beneficial relationships are built and maintained with colleagues and the multi-disciplinary team Promoting effective communication and interpersonal skills. Continuous improvement projects are implemented and monitored Participate in /Attend Quality Improvement Training Using foundations of theoretical knowledge and evidence based guidelines and apply these to a range of activities to achieve agreed patient care outcome.

Critically appraising care practices and appropriately implement quality improvement strategies Monitor and document processes and outcome of care. Records meet legal requirements and are done according to EHL standards (policies and procedures) and accreditation requirements. Documentation audits are done according to hospital policy Clinical information is accurately documented Safekeeping and confidentiality is maintained as per policy. Medication and surgical stock are accurately and timeously recorded /charged/reconciled. Medication and stock items are ordered, received, stored and utilised according to hospital policy Stock/Equipment movement is done according to hospital policy Life support equipment and stock are maintained and utilized according to Code Blue policy.

Preceptors/Preceptees are trained according to the EHL Preceptorship policy Holistic support is provided to new employees New employees complete the unit specific orientation programme within one month Preceptees are clinically supported and accompanied to complete their course-specific learning objectives Assessments are done according to the unit specific and general competency assessment programme.

Requirements

- Bachelor of Science in Nursing Nursing Diploma - 3 Years Nursing Diploma
- 2-5 Years plus relevant Scientific Program of 6 months
- At least 2 years postgraduate experience and 2 years relevant to discipline
- HAAD License
