The Role


The Role

Due to growth, The City Hospital now has a number of RN nursing opportunities across a number of specialiaties.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

• Providing safe quality nursing care.
• Accurate administration of patient documentation.
• Stock and equipment control.
• Continuous Professional Development.
• Maintaining a High emphasis on customer/patient care and hospitality
• Being considerate and sensitive to the need of patients and their relatives.

Requirements


Requirements

The successful candidate will possess the following:

• Meet DHCC licensing criteria
• Proof of valid registration as a Registered Nurse from the home country or an internationally recognized body.
• Minimum three year’s experience after graduation preferably in a private hospital.
• Well-developed interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and function effectively under pressure.
• A personal desire to promote excellence in patient care through mentoring and quality management.
• An excellent command of English is a must and Arabic language is a definite advantage.

In addition to the above, the following qualifications are experience are required:

For Midwifery Positions:

• Completion of an approved midwifery diploma.
• 2 year’s experience after completion of midwifery training in a labour and delivery setting.
• Licensed/certified to practice midwifery.

For Post-Natal Positions:

• BSc. OR Diploma in Nursing with a minimum of 3 years duration from a recognized Nursing Institute.
• A minimum 3 year’s post-qualification nursing experience in a hospital setting.
• Midwifery training or experience in a maternity ward is essential.

For Medical/Surgical Positions:

• 2 year’s post-qualification experience in Surgical/Medical wards.
• Experience in managing a broad range of cases across the spectrum.

For Paediatric Positions:

• BSc. OR Diploma in Nursing with a minimum of 3 years duration from a recognized Nursing Institute.
• Minimum 2 year’s experience in a Paediatric ward, after completion of training.
• A Paediatric Certificate/Diploma.
• Experience in a Paediatric ICU will be an added advantage.

For NICU Positions:

• BSc. OR Diploma in Nursing with a minimum of 3 years duration from a recognized Nursing Institute.
• Minimum 2 year’s experience in a Level 2 or 3 NICU unit.
• A Post-Graduate Diploma in NICU would be a distinct advantage.
• Holding a valid Neonatal Advanced Life Support Certificate.
