Employment: Full Time

With demand in our Power Networks sector continually growing we are looking to appoint Regulation Advisor
Job location: Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Responsible for the review, implementation and total compliance of the current licensing conditions as predetermined by the Regulation & Supervision Bureau (RSB), for the entire client. Forecasts and schedules plans for the future demands of the network in accordance to the licensing conditions, providing a central point of expertise, guidance and advice for all departments and employees within in the client.
Ensures total compliance with, and the timely implementation of all license conditions and regulatory requirements stipulated by the RSB.
Maintains a proactive approach in the planning, scheduling and adherence of the regulatory requirements within the client.
Represents the client on all issues related to the regulatory requirements, related issues or pertaining factors.
Assists the RSB on all matters regarding the client, and generates corresponding reports detailing all requested information.

Requirements

Completion of a Masters Degree in Economics, Engineering or relevant discipline.
15 years extensive experience working with regulatory issues within the Utilities Sector.
Excellent managerial, analytical, interpersonal and communications skills.
Ability to make accurate decisions under pressure and act quickly.
Able to communicate complex details to a variety of different audiences.
Excellent English and Arabic both written and spoken.
PC literate. ICDL is an added advantage.
