Job description / Role
A leading Telecommunications Provider is seeking a highly motivated Team Lead for their Regulatory Affairs Department. The team is seeking an individual with prior experience working within the telecom industry and country with a strong regulatory set up. The general function of the role is to ensure the compliance to regulations at all times and support all departments with technical in put in areas of ICT regulation. Other duties include:
- Ensuring any non-compliance issues are identified, investigated and resolved in a timely manner keeping regulatory requirements in mind.
- Establishing & maintaining business relationships with external entities to create an effective business environment
- Handling all TRA related issues
- Conducting regular market regulatory intelligence, preparing reports and proposing appropriate action.
Requirements
Candidate must have 4-5 years of relevant experience within a regulatory role in the telecom industry. Must have experience with Bahrain ICT regulatory framework and International practices and a deep understanding of telecom product, services and technologies as well as regulations, policies and laws.
