Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Relationship Manager role within a local bank/finance company in the SME segment
- Manage and monitor the assigned corporate credit portfolio ensuring that the portfolio remains regular at all times and the earnings from each relationship are maximized
- Develop business by marketing new clients and to keep a close contact with customers to understand their business needs and to keep seniors timely updated so as to augment volume of business and adjust bank’s business strategy for each account on a case to case basis to better protect bank’s interest
- Supervise, guide and assist the SRO & RO to discharge their duties smoothly
- Guide / assist the corporate support team and operations department staff in operational and back office matters especially related to the corporate clients in his / her portfolio to ensure good customers’ services
- Report efficiently to the senior manager or the unit head of the division
- Manage the credit proposals and work effectively against the set targets for revenue and new to bank clients

Requirements

- Minimum 1 year UAE experience
- Bachelor Degree holder
- Arabic Language is a strong advantage
- Sound knowledge of credit appraisal techniques
- Good capability to interpret financial statements / balance sheets / cash flow statements etc.
- Good knowledge of trade finance related products / procedures
- Sufficient understanding of general banking operations
- Knowledge of the UAE market and the areas which is covered
