The RoleThe Role• Operating Unit and Maintenance Support to increase unit profitability through continuous improvements in reliability and capacity utilization He originates and develops analysis methods for determining reliability of components, equipment, and processes. Acquires data and analyzes the data. Prepares diagrams, charts, drawings, calculations, and reports for defining reliability problems and makes recommendations for improvements. Conducts an analysis of reliability problems and investigates to determine the reliability required for the particular situation considering the cost limitations for equipment up/down time, repair/replacement costs, weight, size, and availability of materials/equipment. Determines the cost advantages of alternatives for developing action plans to comply with internal/external customer demands for reliable processes/equipment to avoid failures. The RFP is pro-active, a clear communicator and is sensitive to interpersonal relationships. He utilizes structured management tools and techniques in order to optimize his individual job performance and subsequent effectiveness in Sadaf's overall reliability and business strategy. 1. Reliability Champion at the location driving the Reliability program and providing expert advice by devising and implementing the appropriate strategies that will promote and track reliability improvement throughout the Organization. 2. The RFP will be the “Power Users” of Sadaf’s existing reliability tools and resources and identify any new tools and/or resources that are required to enhance the company’s reliability efforts. As the “Power User” he will use these resources to analyze both existing (present/historical performance levels) and proposed (expected performance levels) equipment, system/process data in a proactive manner in order to provide Sadaf Management the information necessary to make good and effective business decisions. 3. Lead role in establishment and monitor of a reliability data base for tracking production performance. Tracks and utilizes the Key Performance Indicators in Maintenance at Sadaf and benchmarks with others like SABIC affiliates and Shell. 4. As Sadaf’s reliability data base administrator he will interpret statistical data to calculate KPIs, prepare reliability reports, develop procedures and Conduct system audits and assure compliance to reliability systems and share key learning and success stories. 5. Leading production team efforts for analysis (present/historical performance levels), correlate the differences between the achieved and required performance levels of the company’s operating and manufacturing facilities. Also, set and follow-up on the implementation and effectivness of corrective plan brining about lasting and permanent fix solutions in conjunction with appropriate participation by discipline staff from Maintenance, Equipment Engineering, Operating unit Technical Support and the Operating unit Field Team members. The RFP acts as the Reliability Business Plan FP and monitor status. 6. Identification of Bad Actors and potential opportunities and being instrumental in bringing about the appropriate corrective actions through use of fact-based root cause analysis, known corrective action techniques, and facilitation of team-work. Dissemination of this skill to the organization. 7. Overview, assessment and input to the effectiveness of Sadaf’s predictive / preventive maintenance programs. 8. Provides a role model in leadership of being proactive in the areas of health, safety and care for the environment. Displays ability to set effective goals and creating appropriate plans to achieve the same. Actively promotes teamwork and facilitates inter-personal relationships. 9. The RFP will support Sadaf’s Reliability Development by sharing his expertise, best practices and Conduct reliability related awareness sessions. He provides consultation and is an advisor on strategy for maintenance organizational and cost effectiveness matters utilizing his understanding of Sadaf’s critical success factors. |
RequirementsRequirements1. High level of understanding of critical maintenance activities, i.e.; static and rotating mechanical equipment repairs. 2. Experienced in Reliability methodologies like RBI, RCM ,RCA and other reliability-based maintenance engineering principles and practices. 3. Expert in using Meridium software, i.e. building queries and perform analysis like FMEA, growth, MTBF, … 4. Identification and assessment of opportunities leading to maintenance effectiveness, i.e. material and resource utilization and cost leadership. 5. Coaching and training others. 6. Leadership, facilitation and communication skills, verbal & writing (English). 7. Understanding of Petrochemical and/or Refinery industries Turnaround/Shutdown methods and philosophies, i.e. assess in the implementation of the new T/A concept. 8. Zeal for Reliability. Driver, self-motivated and enthusiasm Moreover, 1. Engineering Degree. 2. Minimum of combined 10 years experience in Maintenance, Operations and Technical in the Petrochemical or oil industry. 3. Certified and hands on experience in Meridium software and RCM (Reliability Centered Maintenance) methodology 4. Experience in development and implementation of Reliability Engineering systems,. 5.
