Employment: Full Time

Position Purpose:

The Relocation Consultant is the primary point of contact for the assignee during any assigned destination or immigration service and is responsible for service delivery as well as reporting on progress related to service delivery.

Responsibilities:

- Communicate effectively and efficiently to all customers, assignees and/or vendors (ie realtors, PROs, etc) and manage expectations - always be proactive.
- Work with the Coordinator to best understand the customer's scope of service and details on any new initiations.
- Contact the assignee and clearly explain the service to be provided and any related procedures and time lines.
- Clearly communicate who Move One is and our service capability in case the assignee may require further assistance.
- Verification of answers initial questions and identification of the applicable full procedure.
- Verification of special needs, interests, or requirements with the assignee, before and during the service delivery, establishing the 'Service Key'.
- Encourage the assignee to visit the Move One Expat Eye Guide and/or other supportive tools as a valuable pre-arrival resource.
- Plan and organize the most effective schedule to best suit the service requirements of the assignee.
- Create solutions for challenging requests and/or times that remain within the company's policies, procedures and budget.
- Provide clear guidance on the procedure, requirements, time lines, and documents required for the process with indication who provides documents, what format and specific requirements for documents.
- Maintain consistent contact with the assignee, customer and HR Manager throughout the service.
- Provide excellent Customer Service to ensure customer issues are resolved.
- Identify and resolve client concerns quickly and efficiently - seek support immediately whenever necessary.
- Build strong relationships with all new assignees/customers acting with integrity, building trust and credibility and ensure personal attention.
- Demonstrate product/service knowledge to customers while building credibility.
- Represent the organization at client or assignee meetings as required.
- Work closely with the Coordinator and Junior Consultant, when applicable.
- Monitor and report all assignee feedback, further questions, concerns and results of each aspect of the scope of service.
- Keep up-to-date on leasing rules, issues, prices, neighborhoods and trends in the housing market.
- Maintain a strong understanding of utilities and set up agreements required for tenants to take on new leases and move into new properties.
- Understand the schooling curriculum's and rules as to registering, testing, tuition and registration / application.
- Stay current and familiar with all expat living FAQs and ease the way for all assignees during the service delivery.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge and awareness of their destination city by reading expat websites and publications.
- Ensuring the organization complies with local laws and regulations.
- Compliance with quality control standards, regulatory compliance, and clear immigration processes - when included in scope of service.
- Recording vital service related information in viaRELO daily by completing comments, statuses, time-tracker, costs, and other fields.
- Uploading service related documents to viaRELO including permit copies, passports, corporate documents, property offers, itineraries, lease agreements, termination notices, HOP documents, and others received for application processing.
- Preparing necessary applications, forms and submission at the appropriate authorities in order to obtain permits and documents related to foreign worker's legal stay in the location.
- Maintain regular communications with the local immigration/labour authorities and remain up to date on the immigration and labour regulations related to foreigners in their location; Regularly read press and orders with information connected with immigration procedures. Update manager on any changes in the related law.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge and awareness of their destination city by reading expat websites and publications.
- Complete any client forms related to the service.
- Assist with any surveys or requests for relocation related information for their destination.
- Work on petty cash reports, handle petty cash payments for vendors and suppliers
- Prepare weekly reports of current statement accounts and inflow and outflow of payments to vendors

Requirements

- University degree
- Service industry work experience (not mandatory)
- At least two years working in immigration/relocations (not mandatory)
- Strong PC skills
- Knowledge of local immigration/labor regulation is preferable
- Excellent interpersonal skills

*Arabic speakers will have a distinct advantage
