Job description / Role
Allen & York are currently looking to recruit an experienced remediation programme manager to join the operations of an international firm operating in Kuwait. The successful applicant will provide high level technical expertise and advice upon the necessary environmental action / remediation for the clean-up of one of the largest contaminated land projects in the world.
Requirements
Prime responsibilities and duties
Primarily responsible for managing the team of remediation experts project managing the execution of project work.
Perform field work/site visits, as necessary, for site characterization and remediation, including oversight of contractors, logging of soil core, demonstration projects and performing sampling of soil and in accordance with Kuwait and USEPA protocols.
Provide support in areas such as environmental site assessment, site investigation, and remediation and landfills.
Provide analysis and summary evaluation of environmental and remediation reports, remedial technologies, etc
Management of relationships with the client and responsible for preparation of written work products including work plans, technical specifications, and site investigation, remedial investigation or remediation reports, etc
Plan, formulate, and schedule consulting activities
Coordinate activities and approve decisions with respect to technical developments, scheduling, design changes, specifications and drawing release.
Accountable for the effective management of resources in accordance with project priorities, objectives, and contractual obligations
Salary & Benefits:
A Basic salary of KWD3,450 / month ($12,221) + living allowance, car, education and fringe benefits will be available to the successful candidate.
Qualification Criteria:
All applications from candidates with less than 20 years experience will be automatically refused for failing to meet the required contractual obligations. Due to visa restrictions we can only accept candidates from Europe, US, Canada, Australia or NZ for this job.
