FAMCO is an ISO 9001:2008 & ISO 14001:2004 certified company.To analyses, inspect and rectify faults in Construction equipment by undertaking necessary repairs and resolving customer complaints adhering to prescribed product and service standards* Diagnosis: Checks and inspects Construction equipment for faults, and arrives at the root cause of problem while allowing for accurate preparation of cost quotations.* Â Repairs: Ensures necessary repairs are carried out as per standard specifications ensuring minimum down time and resolution of defects resulting in customer satisfaction.* Â Checks and diagnosis the machine / equipment in order to determine the cause of malfunctioning in order to carry out necessary and appropriate repairs.* Plans and carries out necessary repairs on site and in workshop, using standard tools and instruments and within the prescribed time frame, to ensure total customer satisfaction. * Assesses the cause of failure of parts and submits appropriate reports that enable decisions on reusability and replacement of parts.* Â Makes cost effective use of material and manpower in order to maintain productivity and efficiency standards.* Prepares necessary reports and order regarding repair, warranty, parts, defects, etc., to enable Shop Foreman and Workshop Manager to take corrective decisions.* Ensure the workshop/ Field service Vehicle is kept clean and conforms to the laid down safety standards for material and equipment.* Respects & gives due regards to Famco's environmental policy during the work. |
RequirementsRequirements * Diploma in Mechanical Engg / Automobile Engg or certificate from a recognised technical institute(ITI).* Should have demonstrated experience of min 5 years in repair & troubleshooting of VOLVO Construction Equipment or other brands of heavy Construction equipment. Experience in VCE & with Construction equipment dealership will be preferred.* Ability to read & understand Hydraulic & electrical diagrams for diagnosis & cost effective solutions.* Should have proven technical expertise of working independently with high standard of quality & due regard to safety & environment.* Able to withstand work pressure & tough working conditions on the field.* Should be able to clearly communicate in oral & verbal English language. Ability to read & implement instruction from service manuals & ability to write field service reports.* Basic Computer knowledge is must/ enough IT skills to use test equipments(computers) for diagnosis. Valid UAE driving license will have preference.* Self motivated & in good health. |
