Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The Repairables Coordinator Lead will ensure safety and lead a multicultural team in the development of the repairables process for the SChem Plant. The Repairables Coordinator Lead will focus on tracking materials from the point of issue until the item is returned into inventory, while documenting and communicating with other departments determining the delivery, criticality, and repair specifications of the item.

The successful candidate will be an advocate for safe work and housekeeping practices, be proficient in required computer skills, a self-starter/self-motivator and capable of working and communicating effectively with others.
- Create Repair Order Document for category
- Create Sub-orders for category
- Coordinate material returns to appropriate shop/drop zone
- Maintain and update Repairables Log on website/share point site
- Ensure materials are ready to ship (palletized, decontaminated and all required paperwork present)
- Prepare shipping papers including MSDS as required
- Set up pick up and deliveries
- Track repairs that have been sent out
- Update Repairables Specialist as needed/required
- Process quotes from vendors
- Determines if item is repairable or not. If not then item is scraped.
- Determines need for reorder according to on-hand level compared to Max/Min levels. If item needs to be reordered then acquires proper signatures of authorization on repairable sheet to reorder through stores stock reorder process.
- Returns repairable sheet to Warehouse Repairable Initiator with appropriate signatures.
- Work with purchasing to update pricing on POs
- Ensure materials are being returned as required/timely manner
- Ensure items are inspected as needed upon return
- Work with shops/warehouse to ensure materials are returned correctly
- Work with craft planners on any repair issues

Requirements

- High School diploma or GED
- Demonstrate strong Presentation Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- SAP: 3+ years in SAP Materials Management and Plant Maintenance experience
- 5+ years in Warehouse and/or Maintenance experience
- The successful candidate must demonstrate excellent leadership, interpersonal writing, and verbal communications skills.
