Job Description:

Reporting Coordinator responsible for monitoring, and reporting for the delivery of QAR 10 billion portfolio of education, medical, marine and general building projects for Government clients. A key function is management of the PWA interface with the Programme Management Consultant (PMC).

Responsibilities:

Management of reporting to achieve a high standard of corporate governance in accordance with PWA policies, standards and procedures. This includes working closely with PWA departments and the PMC.

Develop and maintain the Master Reporting Calendar showing timings and responsibilities for all required reports.

Managing and coordinating the production of reports, instructions, transmittals and other reporting mechanisms to ensure all reports are accurate and validated.

Regular report updates, and preparation of weekly and monthly ad hoc reports as required.

Review of reports prepared by PMC, consultants and contractors.

Oversee and analyze progress reports prepared by the PMC.

Coordinate reporting issues with PMC and PWA.

Requirements

Mandatory Requirements:
•University degree from a recognised university in an appropriate field such as: engineering; construction management; project management. Degrees in other relevant fields will also be considered.
•Certificate in use of Primavera P6.
•Driver's License.
•Proficient in English, written and spoken.

Desirable Requirements:
•Chartered status from a recognized institution.

Experience & Knowledge
•A minimum of 10 years’ experience in monitoring and reporting for the design and construction of major new building programmes.
•Experience in monitoring and supporting the reporting function of consultants and contractors from the client side, preferably within a government agency.
•Experience in the application of Primavera P6, and Primavera Contracts manager on major building projects.
•Have good knowledge and experience of the project lifecycle for building projects in respect of planning, schedule and cost control.
•Experience of working in Qatar or the Gulf region is desirable.
