Research Analyst - ICT

Job description / Role

Due to on going expansion in the Middle East & Africa region, my client are looking for a Research Analyst for HW markets (Systems and Infrastructure Solutions group) to be based in their Riyadh office. The position will serve Saudi Arabian operations as well as support my clients regional goals and business strategy in the Middle East and Africa region. Reporting to the Regional Program Manager, this role supports my clients rapidly growing business in all areas of IT.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct primary and secondary research and data collection in HW area of ICT markets covering four syndicated trackers PC, Tablets, Servers and

Storage;
- Analyse business and market trends;
- Work with quantitative market sizing and forecasting analytical tools;
- Prepare thorough and well-organized reports;
- Work with large data cuts and databases;
- Build and maintain a network of Vendors, Channel Partners and other technology industry players in the country;
- Contribute to consulting engagements and play a support role in business development.

Salary: SAR14k-15k per month (inclusive of allowance) plus benefits

Requirements

Successful candidate should be a Saudi national preferably(but not required) currently based in Riyadh.

While applications from recent graduates are welcome, ideal candidate should possess:
- experience in similar analytical position;
- relevant work experience in research is strongly preferred;
- excellent written and spoken Arabic and English;
- University degree or equivalent.

Candidate has to be able to demonstrate:
- understanding or interest in the ICT industry in general;
- ability to work independently and collaboratively;
- excellent writing and presentation skills;
- solid phone interview skills;
- proficiency with Excel and other MS Office software packages.
