Research Analyst/Assistant

Job description / Role

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive factbase on the Group's activities such as performance, competitor moves, industry trends
- Monitor public information sources for news and developments relevant to existing and potential Group activities
- Conduct primary and secondary research as directed by Strategy Director into topics of interest such as best practice benchmarks in a particular industry
- Update financial spreadsheets on Group performance
- Assist Director in development of presentations
- Monitor references to the Group and Group companies in media and online; develop content to update website
- Any other tasks as directed

Requirements

Skills/Capabilities Required:
- High level of organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong researching skills
- Outgoing personality, able to make phone calls to people/organization they don't know
- Excel, PowerPoint proficiency
- Understanding of basic financial terms and concepts
- Arabic preferred.
