On behalf of our client, a leading Food Products company, we are looking to recruit an experienced Research and Development Manager.
You will initiate and have involvement in new product development (NPD) using advice and information from Quality, Sales, Marketing and Operations Department.
You will conduct detailed studies on the shelf life of existing products and newly developed products, carry out continuous improvemnt on excisting products and ensure they all conform to the standards of QC.
You will lead in the introduction, specification for raw material, perform KPI maintenance and create reports of market competitors.
Requirements
The ideal candidate must be a graduate in Food Technology with experience in the food industry, specifically dried foods products in addition to a strong knowledge of Quality Control.
As the Research and Development Manager, you must be customer oriented, organized with the ability to work in an environment that requires rapid decision making and adaptability.
Perfect knowledge of Windows and Ms Office is a must, with SAGE software as a plus.
Excellent problem solving and project management skills and experience are essential.
