Job description / Role

ABOUT CLIENT:
An exciting opportunity with an established leading South East Asia based National Oil Company that functions throughout offshore development sites.


JOB PURPOSE & SCOPE

1. Hands on and experience on

3D static modelling Sequence Stratigraphy, Depositional Environment, Structure Geology, Sedimentology (in clastic and carbonate environment)

OR

Reservoir Characterization, Seismic Stratigraphic Interpretation, Well Proposal, Prospect Maturation, Field Development Plan (FDP), Full Field Review (FFR) and Area Development Plan (ADP) , PETREL software.

2. Provides technical input into various reports and reviews them to ensure technical integrity.

3. Reviews and evaluates programs and plans to ensure technical integrity and cost effectiveness.

4. Participates in the appraisal and interpretation of geophysical data Designs and plans complex studies to identify new prospects and their hydrocarbon systems.

5. Identifies, defines and solves complex, multi-disciplinary problems.

6. Develops improvement plans.


REMUNERATION:
An attractive remuneration will be negotiated with the successful candidates and will be in line with a competitive industry standard.

Requirements

QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• B.Sc. in Geology, Geophysics or related field

• Minimum of 10 years of practical experience in working on field development studies, asset evaluation and reservoir modeling.
