Residence Maintenance Engineer

Job description / Role

The RME should be able to demonstrate that they have an established history including successful experience in the operation and maintenance of ground based radars and associated communications equipment.

The assigned RME shall be able to support the tasks identified for the entire duration of the project.

Cover Integration, installation, check-out and test of radar and communications equipment.

Requirements

- At least ten (10) years of experience in maintenance and operation of ground based radars and associated communications equipment including:
- Experience in radar systems deployment and operation
- Preventative and corrective maintenance
- On the job Training (OJT) skills in order to transfer knowledge to Customer personnel
- Experience in troubleshooting and repair of electronic circuits by visual inspection or by use of diagnostic software or test equipment.
- Knowledge of electrical and electronic principles, including AC and DC theory and solid state devices and circuits; power supplies, including three-phase power, transformers, and motor generators; radio concepts; Radio Frequency (RF) and microwave devices and circuits; digital circuits; and basic computer and networking concepts.
- Experience in the use of test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, digital multi-meters, power meters, and signal and pulse generators to test, tune, align, adjust, calibrate, and troubleshoot ground radar and related equipment
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing in English:
- Experience in preparing correspondence, and maintaining records.
- Experience in conducting and participating in meetings to resolve problems.
