Job description / Role
URS are urgently looking for an Arabic speaking Resident Engineer for our Interchanges project 189 in Kuwait. The role will be for 12-18 months.
The role requires interaction with the client, the contractor and the local partner consultant.
Requirements
Essential Requirements;
1. Middle East experience preferable.
2. Strong Highways and Highways Structures experience as Resident Engineer.
3. Knowledge of FIDIC and AASHTO.
4. Preferably speak and write Arabic fluently
5. Must be proactive – not "old school" RE style.
6. Minimum 15 years experience post-graduating.
7. Available to start in next 4-6 weeks.
URS's client will not accept candidates who do not fit the above criteria, unsuitable candidates need not apply.
MUST be able to obtain work permit to work in Kuwait - this is a non-optional requirement.
