Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The Technical Group (TG) has been established as the Engineering and Technical organisation for Borouge, which is mainly based in Ruwais. TG is the Engineering and Technical Services organisation and has business process ownership of Asset Integrity; Process Safety Management; Inspection; Project Engineering and Delivery (value up to $50 million); Technical Authority Governance and Support. Additionally TG is the custodian of the Company Technical Standards and Procedures.

Reporting to the Department Manager for Support and Services, under the Technical Services function, your responsibilities will include:

Coordinating, Leading, Planning and Scheduling Technical Group/ Technical Services (TG/TS) manpower resources activities integrated to meet all types of projects i.e. PMP, Major Projects etc.

Responsible for improving the over-all effectiveness of Department Organization by providing work schedules and assuring the availability of resources prior to work execution.

Preparing and monitoring manpower resource work programs to ensure proper utilization and smooth activity coordination. Key contributor in achieving better planning and scheduling of resources in order to improve utilization of resources and quality of work performed.

Key accountablities include:

* Identifying resource demands for Technical Group/ Technical Services Support Request
* Performing Resource Optimisation
* Monitoring and updating Technical Group/ Technical Services activity schedules
* Suggesting improvements for better control of resources and time, MS Project, etc.
* Good technical skills in Project Engineering/ Management covering planning, scheduling, budgeting, cost control and manpower requirement.

Requirements

As a successful candidate you will have:

* Graduate in Bachelor of Engineering
* Minimum of 6-8 years professional experience on project planning and scheduling in oil/ gas/ petrochemical Industry.
* Extensive and proficient in the use of a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) especially with SAP and have very good knowledge in PM, MM, PS modules.
* High degree of computer literacy.
* Proficient in planning software tools i.e. Primavera
* Fluent in English (Written/ Spoken) language and having good communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
* Proven ability to work as an effective team player
