The Role


PURPOSE OF THE JOB
•The job holder is responsible for managing all recruitment needs for their individual HSBC business area. The job holder's responsibility is to effectively manage candidate pooling (both internal and external) and proactive strategic resourcing across their functional business areas whilst delivering a highly professional service to all stakeholders

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Resourcing
•Work to establish a database of internal and external candidates to ensure the region is supplied with a pipeline of suitable candidates for junior to senior vacancies
•Working within clearly defined processes to manage recruitment efficiently and effectively
•Management of interviews and assessment centres
•Roll out effective interviewing and resourcing workshops to hiring managers
•Work with the HR Shared Service Centre to ensure smooth transition of International Mobility contracts

Client Management & Service Delivery
•To help coach, develop and manage on a day to day basis other members of the on-site recruitment team
•Monitor the service delivered and identify/resolve or escalate issues as appropriate
•Maintain constant knowledge of HSBC stakeholders and candidates

Metrics
•Utilisation and understanding of data and metrics and sharing with stakeholders as required
•Integrity of data – utilisation of the Applicant Tracking System to maintain full and accurate resourcing tracking sheets and key recruitment data for key hiring managers.

MAJOR CHALLENGES
•Management of range of complex and senior relationships across functional business areas across MENA region
•Effective maintenance of the Applicant Tracking System, Brassring.
•Development of innovative sourcing techniques to attract range of vacancies in hard to fill roles
•Driving continual process improvements

EXPERIENCE
•Good undergraduate degree
•A minimum of 5 years recruitment experience, of which at least 3 years must have been gained in an in-house recruitment role, working across complex organizations with a credible background in building direct sourcing strategies, managing selection, rolling out process improvements and building highly effective relationships with stakeholders
•Proactive and results orientated, sets high personal standards
•Attention to detail and tenacity to follow things through to completion
•Knowledge of full recruitment lifecycle
•Ability to perform in a structured environment, process and system driven
•Exceptional customer and service orientation
