The RoleThe RoleThe Company: This award winning multi disciplined Group of companies has a strong local and international presence in providing the best in class tourist & leisure facilities through a number of sectors including hotels, sporting, F&B and leisure. As part of a new outlet in Muscat that aims to target both local / expat and tourist customers with an excellent mix of casual dining both during the day and evening this is a fantastic opportunity for the right person to build what promises to be a highly successful venue. Key Responsibilities: • Overall management of the Outlet including restaurant, bar and casual dining • Ensure that the highest standards are set and maintained offering a truly world class experience for your customers • Directing the overall customer experience through exceptional service standards • Recruitment, training and staff development • Financial management of the facility including sales, budget and cost control • Devise the required promotional material and marketing plan to attract and retain a loyal customer base • Train staff on international best practice regarding hygiene, Occupational Health & Safety and issue management • Using your initiative you will manage the venue within the corporate guidelines but free to experiment new ideas |
RequirementsRequirementsExperience Required: • Minimum of 6 years commercial experience management of F&B venues including liquor, restaurant etc. • Strong local or international 4/5 star F&B experience is essential • Excellent people management and motivation skills • Good understanding of the local liquor laws / trading laws • Strong knowledge in OH&S best practice • A hands on management style and someone who is not afraid to lead by example • A commercially minded manager with strong financial budget management • The ability to work flexible hours as required to ensure the business success |
