Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with an imaginative and unique restaurant that has recently opened in Abu Dhabi. With strong investment and support, the business has already signed franchise agreements in a number of countries worldwide. Our client is looking to hire an experienced Restaurant General Manager.
The concept is a family orientated environment with good quality fresh food in a fun atmosphere. You will have overall responsibility of the site in Abu Dhabi with the potential opportunity to be heavily involved in the pre-opening of the second site in Dubai. Your duties will include staff training and development and full P&L and budget control. You will also be responsible for the general day-to-day operations of the large, two floored restaurant. In addition, you will be accountable for directly increasing sales and profitability at the site.
Requirements
The successful candidate should have previous heavy involvement in a high volume, casual dining environment. You should be financially astute and have experience of managing P&L. It is essential you are able to relocate to Abu Dhabi if you are not currently living there.
