General Manager

Salary: up to AED 28,000

On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced General Manager that is willing to work in Abu Dhabi for a well known high end restaurant. This post is responsible for driving pre and post opening restaurant operations within this high volume venue. In conjunction with the F&B Company Operations Team, where he/she will be required to be involved in all aspects of opening the venue.

The post holder will report to the Operations Manager F&B, and will handle all venue staff members.
The General Manager will assist in the development and training of all other Management members in order to ensure a smooth opening. Writing, implementing, and delivering service standards that conform to the Standard Operating Procedures of the company will also fall under the responsibility of the General Manager.

Requirements

Ideal candidates for this position should hold a High School Diploma or Catering Diploma, with at least 2 years experience in the similar role. He or she must have excellent Problem Solving, Management Expertise, Coordination, Leadership, and Planning and Organization Skills. Knowledge in Health and Safety Operations, and Food Act is extremely essential for this post.

The salary for this post will range up to AED 28,000 depending on the candidates experience, plus other great additional benefits. This post will also offer a progressive and fantastic opportunity for career development.

Essential

• Must have a High School Diploma or a Catering Diploma preferably related to F&B or Institutional/Financial Management
• At least 2 years experience working as a General Manager in a high profile or 5-star restaurant
• Will have come from a high volume mid casual General Manager’s background.
• Experienced in pre and post opening of high volume F&B outlets.
• Experienced in P&L accounts, forecasting, budgeting and stock control

Desirable

• Candidates who possess an HACCP Certification
