Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a leading hotel in Qatar with 7 food and beverage outlets. Our client has recently opened an award winning new restaurant and is looking to hire a Restaurant Manager.
This position will be responsible for the reputation and success of the restaurant. You will retain existing customers whilst also bringing in new business. This will include publicizing the restaurant by designing and placing advertisements and inviting food editors to review the restaurant as well as contacting magazines with feature ideas and encouraging local businesses to hold social events at the restaurant. You will be working alongside the kitchen team to plan menus and compose new authentic dishes on a regular basis. In addition, you will be responsible for the financial objectives of the restaurant along with the safe and healthy environment of the outlet.
Requirements
The successful candidate should have a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar position as well as be a strong leader who can naturally motivate and encourage a team. It is essential you have GCC experience and are either already based in Qatar or committed to moving there. Our client has stated a preference for a young and energetic individual who has the ability to build exceptional guest rapport whilst assisting their team on the floor.
