Job description / Role
A supervisor is required for a new restaurant in Abu Dhabi. This position will have the following roles & responsibilities:
- Reporting directly to the GM/owner
- Responsible for day to day management of the service teams including; waiting staff and delivery staff
- Responsible for ensuring clear and effective communication between customer service teams and kitchen
- Responsible for ensuring all stock and inventory is ordered on time, received correctly and on time and that inventory levels are sufficient
- Responsible for all customer facing staff and ensuring high levels of customer service
- Responsible for training waiters and waitresses in the menu, products and in suggestive selling and excellent customer service
- Responsible for the smooth running of the restaurant and dining area
- Responsible for ensuring the service area, dining area, shop front and washroom is always clean
- Responsible for ensuring all delivery, sine-in and take away orders are processed quickly and efficiently, with great attention paid to timing and quality of delivery
The successful candidate will speak clear and fluent English, be well presented and be able to pay great ATTENTION TO DETAIL.
Requirements
This position is for our sister company QUEST RESTAURANTS MGMT - and is for a restaurant with a significant delivery business, and great attention to detail is required in order to successfully manage multiple orders during busy times, and ensure the drivers are organised, and the kitchen staff are preparing according in the correct sequence.
Furthermore it is customer facing so the candidate should have excellent customer service skills, and be able to train new and junior staff
