Job description / Role
My client, a leading extreme sports equipment retailer and wholesaler, is looking to recruit brand managers for its Dubai operation.
You will be responsible for achieving targeted sales for specific brands and improving the overall gross margins of the company.
Your main accountabilities will be:
- improve stock turns
- enhance brand promotion and marketing activities
- ensure customer satisfaction
- undertake sales forecasting
- undertake pricing activities
- undertake promotions and marketing activities
- track merchandise orders
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have the following requirements:-
- 5-7 years experience in a multi unit brand retailing company (preferably apparels) in brand management function
- 1-2 years experience in heading group of brands
- previous exposure to retailing practices, promotions and visual merchandising activities
- strong analytical skills
- degree in fashion retailing is an advantage
