Retail Business Manager

Job description / Role

My client, one of the most exciting local Retail Groups in the UAE, is looking for an experienced individual to join them in the role of Retail Business Manager. As the company focus on expanding their business portfolio and bringing new and exciting brands on board, they are looking for a passionate new addition to Head up their Retail portfolio.

The role of Retail Business Manager, is accompanied by many responsibilities including but not limited to:
- Develop a retail strategy, that is in line with the brand image and to maximise profitability
- Oversee and support existing Retail Stores
- Define targets and budgets for the Retail Stores
- Lead the development and implementation of New Retail Stores
- Ensure consistent and manageable customer service standards across the business
- Supervise and provide guidance to subordinates
- Work closely with brand managers, buyers, sales and purchasing managers

Requirements

- Minimum of 7 years experience in Retail Management (Preferably luxury)
- UAE Retail Market Experience
- Strong background in merchandising
- Hold a Bachelors Degree
- Financial Management skills
- Leadership skills, ability to motivate and train others
- Have excellent negotiation and presentation skills
- Have a driven and passionate personality
